There are multiple ways for you to contribute and get involved in this exciting project restoring history.

Buy a Seat Here

The Tri-Motor Heritage Foundation provides a rare opportunity to own a piece of history. As a major donor, you can purchase one of an extremely limited number of seats inside the cabin of the completed aircraft. Major donors may choose to purchase the pilot’s seat, the co-pilot’s seat, or one of 10 seats in the passenger compartment. Your seat will include an engraved brass plaque commemorating your generous support of the Ford Tri-Motor restoration project, prominently displayed for all future passengers to acknowledge.

In addition, all major donors purchasing a seat will be entitled to:

  • 10 tickets per year to be used during the scheduled flying season. These tickets may be used in any manner the donor may wish. Start a new tradition by filling the airplane for your own private flight around the islands once a year, or use them separately throughout the flying season. As a major donor, it’s completely up to you.
  • Major donors will be issued a key to the aircraft. The key will open the cabin door, allowing them the opportunity to enjoy private tours of the aircraft with friends and family during museum hours. Your tour will provide a unique and special perspective on the aircraft, the aircraft’s history, and the role that the Ford Tri-Motor played in the history of civil aviation.
  • All major donors will be honored guests at our annual Tri-Motor summer event. These events include presentations from distinguished aviation speakers, air tours, museum functions, and many other exciting events.
Passenger seats may be purchased for a donation of $25,000.00, the pilot’s seat for a donation of $100,000.00, and the co-pilot’s seat may be purchased for a donation of $75,000.00. There are limited opportunities available to purchase a seat on our restoration project.

Please contact The Tri-Motor Heritage Foundation directly by using the "BUY A SEAT" link . We will contact you about making your contribution arrangements.

Have your name go down in history at the Tri-Motor Heritage Museum, and be part of our “Island Airlines Historic Walkway”. A tax deductible donation of $150.00 purchases a brick that will recognize you as a Tri-Motor Heritage Foundation platinum sponsor. All bricks purchased will be used in the construction of our beautiful outdoor walkway and rest area. Here, museum visitors can watch arriving and departing aircraft, enjoy a peaceful summer afternoon at the airport, or survey the grounds to hunt for your name among the bricks provided by the donors.

Ready to make your mark? Buying a brick couldn’t be easier. You can purchase a brick online with your credit card or order your brick by mail. Either way, become one of our platinum sponsors, and part of The Tri-Motor Heritage Foundation.
